In the 1970’s if you were driving from Colorado to New York, you probably saw a flash of orange, yellow, and white whiz by leaving you in the dust. At this time there was only one truck company famous for its Circus Wagons that weren’t afraid to put the pedal to the metal and that was Monfort of Colorado. Some say the semi's would run over 90 mph, so the passing lane became known as the Monfort Lane. With having to make back to back trips in a week, it’s no wonder they were king of the left lane.
