1/25 Dukes of Hazard General Lee 69 Charger - mfd by Ertl The Dukes of Hazzard General Lee is one of the most popular TV/movie vehicles of all time. This 1:25 scale replica features an opening hood with detailed engine, detailed interior with roll cage, authentic tampo-printed graphics and free-rolling wheels. Packaged in a window box. The General Lee was generally considered a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with the 440-cubic-inch Magnum V8 engine, although a number of variations were used. Body color was Hemi Orange with flat black around the taillights, a Confederate Flag on the roof with General Lee spelled out to the side of it, 01 on both doors. Over 300 Dodge Chargers were used on the show because of the wrecks need to make the show. This is the biggest reason today collectors do not want to see another new Dukes of Hazzard movie filmed. The crew kept offering the kids money until they finally just opened the hood, pulled the horn out, and sold it to them. Needless to say, the crew could have purchased in a store for much less!
