It is chromed. This plane is 9.5 inches long and has a wing span of 12.5 inches. The wings on this plane are corrugated and on the top it says, "Spokane NR-9628." On the side of the plane it says, "Spokane Sun-God Buhl Whirlwind 300HP." In 1929 the Spokane Sun-God became the first airplane to make a non-stop round-trip transcontinental flight due to its ability to be refueled mid-flight. This plane was mfd in 2001 and is the #9 SPECIAL EDITION plane in the series.
