In Feb. 1525 an Italian and Spanish Imperialist army advance on the Italian city of Pavia to relieve it from the French. The two armies each had approximately 20,000 men, with the French having for cavalry. On the night of February 23-24th the Imperialists attacked the French positions around the Mirabello Park.
